No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Taking Time to Notice: A Soul Collage Pop Up</h2><h3>Domain: Creative Expression, Contemplative Practice</h3><p><em>A note from Kelley</em>:</p><p>Over the past few years I’ve become a plant parent. I. Can’t. Stop. Acquiring. Them. </p><p>They bring me joy. Their vibrant greens, pinks, and yellows are a delight to my senses. I love noticing new growth and removing leaves that have done the work and are ready to move on. I have plants that behave in ways that let me know they need more water or that I’ve given too much. I have plants whose leaves move up and down depending on the time of day. The life flowing through them creates a welcoming environment in our home. </p><p>Join me to explore the ways we can acknowledge growth in ourselves and notice what’s budding within us. We’ll spend time creating and then reading our SoulCollage cards. This is a great opportunity for beginners as well as those looking to add to their deck.</p><p>Space is limited. Register for this in-person course, if possible, before July 15, to aid in image preparation. All materials will be provided.</p><p> Kelley Bronsink is a career educator (SLP) certified in trauma informed care. As a mother, indie crafter, former scrap book store owner, and pastor’s wife, Kelley discovered SoulCollage® as an unique, intuitive avenue for her own spiritual formation and a natural way to give back to the world. As a certified SoulCollage® facilitator Kelley has taught courses ranging from teenaged girls exploring archetypes to women seeking healing work through a creative community. She has a way of making woo woo things feel more accessible and bringing the artist out in even the most resistant of personalities.</p><h3>Covid Considerations: Masks are currently optional at the Hive. Individuals may choose to wear a mask for personal protection, and as always, we ask anyone who is feeling sick or has a high temperature to not attend until they are recovered.
