We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Listening to Our Inner Wisdom: An Introduction to Jungian Dream Analysis</h2><h3>Domains: Healing Work, Contemplative Practice, Mapping Tools</h3><p>What are dreams? A random string of images from our daily lives? An attempt to carry out unfulfilled desires? A portal to something deeper? Jungian psychology teaches that dreams are our unconscious mind&#x27;s attempt to communicate things to us, and that when properly analyzed, can lead us toward deeper self-awareness and open up pathways toward self-actualization. In this way, a practice of analyzing one&#x27;s dreams can be a highly valuable tool for (personal) growth and transformation. </p><p>This class is suitable for anyone with curiosity about dreams and a willingness to explore hidden aspects of themselves. It will provide participants with a basic understanding of Jungian psychology and dream analysis as well as a simple process to use to interpret the symbolism of one&#x27;s own dreams. Through journaling, dyad exercises, and group sharing, participants will seek to discover what our recent dreams are communicating to us and how we could imply this inner-wisdom to our lives moving forward.</p><p>John Klingler is a white-bodied educator from Cincinnati interested in the intersection of personal transformation and collective liberation. He has facilitated a variety of intimate groups dedicated to these ends through a process of embodied, compassionate connection and vulnerable sharing.</p><h3>Covid Considerations: Masks are currently optional at the Hive. Individuals may choose to wear a mask for personal protection, and as always, we ask anyone who is feeling sick or has a high temperature to not attend until they are recovered.
