A Spooktacular Astro AdventureJoin us for an unforgettable journey into the cosmos! This event is on Friday, October 13th, 2023, from 3 pm through Sunday, October 15th at 10 am at the Georgetown Mountain Inn in Georgetown, Colorado.Are you craving more adventure in your life? Are you being called to explore your spiritual side? Maybe it’s time to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life and build some community with like-minded, curious souls.Join us Friday, October 13th through the 15th for a thrilling, spooktacular adventure weekend.Night One:We’ll start our experience off with a brief check-in to the Georgetown Mountain Inn in Georgetown, Colorado, and with a meet and greet to get to know your community and hostesses. After getting settled into your rooms, you’ll begin the evening with a relaxing and rejuvenating gentle yoga session with Heather to unwind from your drive, get grounded, and set intentions. Journals will be included so you can notate your thoughts and experiences throughout the event.We’ll gather for a hot, delicious meal at a nearby restaurant to get to know each other more and swap ghost stories and other spiritual experiences before embarking on our adventurous night ahead.After dinner, we’ll split into two groups. One group will conduct a paranormal investigation with MacKenzie at the John Tomay Memorial Library in Georgetown, and the other will venture out with Maggie for a mindful, astrophotography lesson and star gazing.To conclude your evening, you’ll wind down and prepare for a restful night’s sleep with Yoga Nidra with Heather.Day/Night Two:Wake up and enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the hotel with options for coffee, tea, juice, cocoa, muffins, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, fresh fruit, or breakfast bars, and chat with other guests about your chilling tales from the night prior.Then, join Heather for a refreshing morning meditation and yoga with crystal Reiki savasana to clear your mind, body, and spirit in preparation for the day’s activities. This will be followed by an optional and weather-permitting Solar Eclipse watch party. Pinhold projectors will be provided for your safety.Lunch will be from 12 to 1 pm on your own. From 1 to 4 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Georgetown, leaf peep Guanella pass, take a ride on the Georgetown Loop, take a hike, or explore add-ons with Heather, Maggie, or MacKenzie.We’ll reconvene for dinner and then a costume party, where we’ll all vote for the best costume for a prize.Afterwards, we'll break out into two groups and swap experiences. One group will conduct a paranormal investigation with MacKenzie at the John Tomay Memorial Library in Georgetown, and the other will venture out with Maggie for astrophotography and stargazing.We’ll conclude the evening with a relaxing Yoga Nidra to ease into a restful night’s sleep.Day Three:A complimentary breakfast will be provided by the hotel followed by optional morning meditation with Heather. We'll then have a brief reflection and closing ceremony to share your experiences and feedback from 9 to 10 am.Check-out of the Georgetown Mountain Inn is at 11 am.<h3>P ayment Plans are Available Upon Request!</h3>This experience is for you if you:•Are 21+•Are open to paranormal experiences•Are able to climb one flight of stairs to the second floor of the hotel and are comfortable with a short walk for yoga•Want to unwind and relax with some Hatha and Yoga Nidra•Are open to enjoying short meditations or journaling intentions•Enjoy nature, being outside, fresh air, the stars, and night sky, and the peacefulness of the nighttime•Are looking to connect with your intuition and be more mindful•Prefer smaller, more intimate groups (there will be a max of 20 guests, plus your 3 hosts)•Are open to meeting new people and potentially making new spiritual adventure friends•Love photography or taking photos•Support an LGBTQIA+ and diverse and inclusive safe spaceCancellation Policy:We understand how unpredictable life can be and we do want to be as understanding as possible, however, we also have to protect our time and energy and that of the hotel owner we are partnering with for this event.If you cancel 30 days or more in advance, you will receive a full refund for your ticket.Any cancellations made 29 days or less prior to the event on October 13th will not receive a refund. However, tickets are transferrable using Eventbrite. You can edit your order information to put your ticket under someone else’s name and email address. This won’t remove the ticket from your Eventbrite account, but the new attendees will receive an email prompting them to claim tickets when you save the change.There are no exceptions to the cancellation policy, and we are not responsible for any expenses you incur as a result of attending the event.*Note: Waivers must be signed in order to participate and attend the event.Add Ons Info:Add-ons will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be paid in cash or directly to Maggie, Heather, or MacKenzie’s Venmo. Add-ons are available Saturday from 1-4 pm, or we may also be able to accommodate add-ons Sunday after 10 am.Maggie offers an astrophotography photo shoot of you (and your bestie or significant other) with 5 edited photos for $100Maggie also offers 30-minute photo shoots around Fairplay for $100 with up to 10 processed imagesHeather offers mini Astrocartography or Astrology readings in 30-minute increments for $45MacKenzie offers 20-minute intuitive readings, oracle card readings, and/or tarot readings for $25If anyone is not able to receive a reading from Heather or MacKenzie, these offerings can be honored outside of the event as wellAbout Maggie:My name is Maggie Martin and I run Colorado Astrophotography. I specialize in all things related to astrophotography such as night photography workshops &amp; experiences, date nights, photo shoots, and post-processing Zoom sessions. Astrophotography has always been a passion of mine, and during the pandemic, I decided to make it my full-time business. The beauty of the night, along with the majesty of the mountains makes astrophotography a unique way to connect with nature, creativity, and curiosity. It’s become a mindful and therapeutic practice that has benefited me tremendously so I decided to share this passion with the world. We take folks out in the mountains at night and teach them how to take pictures of their own or provide photo shoots and date nights where we capture you under the stars. These experiences have not only been fun and inspiring but have connected folks with nature in a unique capacity.
