The Lounge found within Factory Records will take you on a trip through music nostalgia. We will provide an underground, Manhattan in the 60’s vibe. From its unique industrial feel to its vintage glam, with hanging velvets and chandeliers. Each unique sitting area features eclectic vintage furniture. You will be surrounded by fun collectible accent pieces that you can pick up and play with like a rotary phone, typewriter, guitar and much more.

Pat DiMeo takes the reins on vocals, while Aaron "Mister the Kid" Henry shreds on the guitar. On keys, drums, and additional production is Kalimocho. They also have the support of Andreas Koliakoudakis, a lifelong friend of Pat DiMeo, serving as their producer and mixer.

</p><p>Since their formation in 2018, The Motion Epic has quickly established an impressive track record, leaving an indelible mark on the Synthwave scene. With four resoundingly successful albums to date, namely "Midnight, " "West Coast Dreams, " "Boardwalk Arcadia, " and "Deep in the Heart of America, " the band has established themselves as one of the leading musical acts of their genre. Their growing catalog of music, which has garnered over 2 million plays on Spotify, is a testament to their artistic prowess and their ability to captivate audiences with their infectious melodies and captivating lyrics.

Consequently, the band has successfully sold over 1,000 physical units to date, encompassing various formats such as vinyl, cassette, and CD. Drawing inspiration from seminal artists of the 1980s, including Simple Minds, Tears for Fears, Phil Collins, and Bruce Springsteen, The Motion Epic has masterfully incorporated their signature sound with a distinct flair. By striking a balance between vintage and modern, the band has carved out a niche for themselves within the fiercely competitive musical landscape.

</p><p></p><h2>Diamond Field</h2><p>Diamond Field creates “21st Century ‘80s Music” — original electronic music inspired by the sounds of the 1980s, combined with today’s production techniques. Diamond Field’s hybrid synth pop, new wave and pop rock sound  has become a staple of the ‘synthwave/retrowave’ scene that took off in the early 2010s.

</p><p>Based in New York City, Diamond Field is fronted by songwriter/producer Andy Diamond. However, this is not just a solo project – with its collaborations from guest vocalists and musicians from all around the world, each song gets its own individual flavor while wrapped with the Diamond Field “sound”.

</p><p>Diamond Field’s sound is inspired by ‘80s producers like Hugh Padgham, Stephen Hague and Trevor Horn whose production techniques mixed the latest music tech of the time with traditional instruments. Electric guitars, bass, and ‘real’ drums are combined with drum machines, sequencers, and synthesizers; vocals are up-front and stacks of backing vocals abound. Songwriting, inspiration comes from a wide gamut of artists from ABBA to Michael Sembello and The Go Go’s to Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark.

</p><p>After a string of singles the debut self-titled Diamond Field album was released by Sofa King Vinyl in 2021. Prior to this, Sofa King released Diamond Field’s ‘Won’t Compromise’, a collaboration with ‘80s BMX legend Bob Haro – the first title in Sofa King’s “Synthy Sevens” 7” vinyl series. Other Sofa King artists include The Motion Epic, Opus Science Collective and Australian synth duo Client Liaison.

</p><p>In 2022 Diamond Field began to put the music in front of a live audiences. Performing as a duo with Andy Diamond on synth and electric guitar, vocalist Jenny Bates was enlisted to boldly cover the many vocal styles found across the Diamond Field catalogue. The response to the live show was instant, winning new fans with each performance.
