<p>The UC San Diego Black Staff Association Executive Board will host its 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration and Black Excellence Awards to honor Black culture, and the unique efforts and distinctive works of the recipients being recognized.  </p><p>During this event, we will explore what the Juneteenth holiday means for Americans, celebrate Black excellence, and explore ways in which all communities can observe, reflect, and educate in commemoration.  This year’s theme is “Hip Hop, Liberation &amp; Kujichagulia” and will focus on education, signature dishes, and the historical relevance of soulful music.</p>
