BACHATANightz- Summer Edition

Ashkenazis the East Bay's home to world music & dance... established 1973; nonprofit since 1997. We are always all ages! Kids 12 & under are admitted free unless otherwise noted.All of our online ticket sales are will call.We will have a list of ticket buyers at the door; you do not need to bring a printout of your ticket/order confirmation.Doors open 30 minutes before showtime, or 30 minutes before the dance lesson if there is one, unless otherwise noted.Ashkenaz's Café opens when doors open and offers beer (draft and bottled), wine, kombucha, juices, sodas, coffee and tea, and snacks and light meals (all vegetarian, mostly organic).

BACHATANightz - Thursday June 1Tickets are $15 Advance / $25 Day of Show / $15 Students at door.S﻿ave the date and join us at this special celebration!Hosted by award-winning Bachata contest master <a href="https://www.facebook.com/kathyreyesdance.fitness/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kathy Reyes</a>, who also teaches dance at Ashkenaz. Bachata is a form of Latin dance/music that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is now danced all over the world. Reyes teaches the dance lesson at 8:00 p.m., followed by Live dance performances and social dancing to recorded music spun by DJRon.Let's get ready for this incredible night. *** Doors open 7:30pm*** Beginner friendly Bachata Lesson 8:00pm with Kathy Reyes*** Social Dancing 9:00pm- 1:30am*﻿** DJRon in the mix*** Beer, Wine and Snacks available for purchase.*** Performances 11pmParking is available in the REI parking lot across the street after 9 pm. At other times, street parking is available on Gilman, San Pablo and neighboring streets. Please respect Ashkenaz's neighbors and keep voices down as you walk through the neighborhood, especially late at night.
