The Charlotte Gaymers Network (CGN) was founded on July 6, 2020, by friends Jonathan Saldana and Zach Smith, who recognized the need for the LGBTQ+ community to stay connected during the isolation of a world-altering pandemic. What started as a small initiative has since grown into a vibrant and thriving community hub for LGBTQ+ gamers and allies across Charlotte and beyond.CGN’s mission is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for people from all walks of life, united by our shared love of gaming. From board games and tabletop role-playing adventures to video games and immersive social gatherings, CGN provides a safe space for connection, laughter, and friendship. Our events are designed to celebrate diversity and bring people together, whether you’re a seasoned gamer, a casual player, or simply looking for community.Today, CGN hosts events throughout Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding areas, building bridges across neighborhoods and offering opportunities for members to connect both virtually and in person. T4T Tea party is a 18+ trans centered safe space. In a world that is full of transphobia and anti-trans legislation, we want to create a space where you can socialize, play games, and just exist happily in a space that is centered around trans safety and acceptance.
