<p>Dear OWASP fellows,</p><p>We return to Brno again with an evening meetup in Živo u Palečka. This time we&#x27;ll have at least two talks and after that some time for networking and discussion.</p><h2>Schedule</h2><p>18:00 - Doors open!</p><p>18:30 - Kamil Vavra - Solving CAPTCHAs for Fun</p><p>1﻿9:30 - Igor Hak - IOT in the home environment more under control</p><p>23:00 - Doors close</p><h2>Information about the speakers and talks</h2><h3>Kamil Vavra</h3><p>@vavkamil is an Ethical Hacker &amp; AppSec Engineer. With a wealth of knowledge gained from countless hours of research, he generously shares his findings with the community, contributing to a safer internet environment for us all. Kamil is also a seasoned bug bounty hunter and has dedicated much of his life to Offensive Web Application Security.</p><h3>Solving CAPTCHAs for Fun</h3><p>We will explore how traditional Captchas work and look at their evolution into the modern solutions we encounter daily. Let&#x27;s compare a variety of vendors and the unique features they offer. But the question remains: are these CAPTCHAs sufficient in protecting your web applications against attackers and bots? And what about artificial intelligence?</p><p></p><h3>Igor Hak</h3><p>Igi was born to fight computer malware. In 1998 He created a website about viruses, which then became the portal VIRY.CZ. Since 2003 He has been working for the antivirus company ESET. He runs a discussion forum FORUM.VIRY.CZ and a service for victims of attacks NEŠLAPE.CZ. It can be said that He is completely &quot;affected&quot; by malware and security.</p><h3>IOT in the home environment more under control</h3><p>A series of incidents led me to think that I could run IOT devices in my home without using their official cloud services and in a more isolated manner. Sometimes it was a piece of cake, other times a problem.
