This special event is presented by <a href="https://perspectus.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Perspectus Architecture</a> and <a href="https://www.clevelandrestoration.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cleveland Restoration Society</a>Take an onsite tour to learn about historic East Mount Zion Baptist Church’s role in art, architecture, and Civil Rights. It was constructed on Euclid Avenue Millionaires’ Row between 1905 and 1908 as the Euclid Avenue Christian Church by New York architects George Kramer and C.C. Hamilton. The church is notable for its architecture and art, specifically containing over 100 stained glass windows designed by J&amp;R Lamb Studios, New York. The church also was a gathering space for speakers, organizers, and political candidates working to advance African American Civil Rights, beginning in 1955 when East Mount Zion purchased and moved to the church.
