The author learned to juggle at the Boys and Girls Club in Ventura. For those interested in practicing after the author talk, juggling materials will be provided!<a href="https://www.stewartsinclair.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stewart Lawrence Sinclair</a> is a writer, editor and educator whose essays and narrative reportage has been featured in Guernica, The Millions, and elsewhere. He is the author of the books Juggling (Duke University Press, March ‘23) and Space Rover (Bloomsbury/The Atlantic, 2024).
 Originally from Ventura, California, Stewart has lived across the United States, in New Mexico, Louisiana and New York. Stewart’s work has focused on class, belonging and the vagaries of upward mobility in America.
