"Death over Tea" on December 27th at 7pm mst, with special guest Althea Holmes, founder of Ewkniklee Mee, LLC, a memorial design studio dedicated to helping families honor their loved ones with beauty, dignity, and compassion.

Born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, Althea has lived her story with resilience and a steady faith that continues to guide her work. After losing her husband in 2020 and her mother in 2022, she began using creativity as a form of healing. Today, she designs custom obituary programs, memorial keepsakes, and legacy pieces that help families preserve stories that matter. Her work weaves artistry with empathy, offering families comfort during some of life’s hardest moments.

Althea is also the author of Ewkniklee Mee: Volume 1, her powerful “bio-zine,” where she shares her journey through grief, identity, and purpose. She is a speaker who uplifts audiences with her warm honesty, gentle humor, and message that healing can be both creative and sacred. Through her work, Althea encourages others to find strength in their own stories and to honor the lives that shaped them.
