This month at Death over Tea, we'll explore one of the most innovative and environmentally conscious options for final disposition: Aquamation.
We welcome three experts in the field, who are helping to transform the conversation around death care through education about Aquamation for both humans and our beloved animal companions.
Rob Goff will join us virtually to discuss human Aquamation, while Amanda Todd and Tim Senterfitt, founders of Goodnight Moon Aquamation, will share how they're bringing compassionate Aquamation services for animal companions to the Treasure Valley. Together, they'll offer insight into this gentle approach and the meaningful choices now available in Idaho.

Amanda Todd Amanda is an Idaho native, born and raised in the rural Idaho. She began her professional career in banking before being recruited by the Ada County Sheriff's Office. She served in law enforcement for over eleven years while earning her Bachelor of Arts from Boise State University. During this time, she was first introduced to the death care industry. Including living in a funeral home.
Following her time in law enforcement, Amanda became a licensed real estate agent, a role she still holds today. Her diverse background later led her to become a Family Service Advisor and Cemeterian for a local funeral home, guiding families through the preplanning of final arrangements, supported during the funeral and beyond. Building on years of experience, she is now a founder and owner of Goodnight Moon Aquamation.
Tim Senterfitt

After serving multiple tours as a US Army infantryman in Afghanistan and Iraq, he transitioned into the death care industry. He gained extensive experience as a removal technician and in deceased preparation before managing several large-scale crematories in the San Diego area.
After moving to Idaho, Tim began working as a funeral director and mortician. In 2025, he and his coworker and friend, Amanda, founded Goodnight Moon Aquamation to provide high-quality pet aftercare and introduce the aquamation process to the region.
