HPRA-LA PRemio Awards & Scholarship Night 2019

Founded in the 1980s , HPRA a national nonprofit organization with chapters in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. The organization's mission is to advance the practice of Hispanic public relations as a marketing discipline; to serve as the voice for professionals working in the Hispanic communications field nationwide; to empower its members through support, resources, and education; and to offer guidance and assistance to students pursuing careers in the field.

Hispanic Public Relations Association, Los Angeles Chapter

On Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, more than 200 Public Relations and Communications professionals, digital influencers, and media representatives will convene for the Hispanic Public Relations Association, Los Angeles Chapter (HPRA-LA) annual signature scholarship fundraiser.
Under the theme of “One Night in Havana” the event will take attendees to the depths of the rich Cuban culture.
Set in a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere, the party will transport guests to a 1950’s Club in Havana where the rumba rhythms and dancing keep the night alive. Guests will enjoy Cuban flavors created by Wolfgang Puck Catering while sipping mojito cocktails. Complete with salsa lessons, a cigar rolling station, live music, and DJ to seal the night.
It will be an unforgettable evening to support the HPRA LA Scholarship Program and honor those who are using their voices to raise the profile of the Latino community.
