The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is dedicated to improving the professional lives of members of the bench and bar. Our chapter serves over 1,200 members, the largest chapter in the national organization.

This CLE will have an in depth discussion on the current public perception and the legitimacy of the Court.

U.S. District Court - EDLA

The CLE will be a roundtable discussion focused on the public&#x27;s perception of the judiciary&#x27;s legitimacy and how that perception affects judges&#x27; ability to do their work. The moderator is Honorable Jane Triche Milazzo (EDLA).  The panelists include Honorable Dana Douglas (U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals), Honorable Wendy Vitter (EDLA), Dean Madeleine Landrieu(Loyola Univ. New Orleans College of Law), Professor John Devlin (LSU Law), and Clancy DuBos.   Lunch will be provided. 1 CLE Credit.
