How do I sign up to participate?

Choose participants as an add-on to your tickets. Then when you receive your ticket via email, scroll all of the way (yes, all of the way) to the bottom and follow the survey link to select your preferences.

Do I need to live in this state to participate?

Not at all, this is an international competition!

Do I need to be a farmer to participate?

Do I need to have a team?

Accepted Answer

No. The two person fencing race is the only race where there are people who are coming as teams. However, there may be other folks looking for a team so don’t be shy about signing up as an individual. Since this is our first time doing this, we’re going to be quite flexible to figure out what works

What if I can’t be there the whole time?

That’s fine. The ticket fee covers the whole event which includes a picnic dinner. However, you can come for any part. The afternoon will be games and events and the evening will feature live music, a silent auction, dinner, and a bonfire.

Is the venue handicapped accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There  is a concrete parking area and ramp into the main building and the bathroom is wheelchair accessible. The main event will be held in the field in front of the building which is grass and connected by a gravel drive way.

What if it rains?

We plan to have this event rain or shine and are praying that any rain will be light. We will have a large tent and there is indoor space if we need to escape the weather.

Will alcohol be served at the event?

No. Dinner is BYOB.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Picnic blankets, lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottles. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for outdoor terrain.
