Evening Under the Sphere - Benefiting the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona ParkWith the backdrop of a fun and festive evening, filled with enthusiastic park supporters, guests will enjoy unlimited food and beverages from vendors from the Queens Night Market and dancing under the stars. A key highlight of the Evening Under the Sphere benefit is AFMCP’s Freedom of the Human Spirit Award that honors leaders in the Queens community for their achievements: <ul><li>CEO Suzette Noble, representing LaGuardia Gateway Partners </li></ul><ul><li>CEO Melva Miller, representing the Association for a Better New York</li></ul><ul><li>Former Queens Borough President Claire Shulman </li></ul>New this year, AFMCP has created an award that will honor former Queens Borough President Claire Shulman by posthumously naming The Claire Shulman Award for Public Service in her memory. The Evening Under the Sphere will take place rain or shine. If you are unable to attend, your ticket purchase can be converted into a 100% tax-deductible contribution, but no refunds will be offered. If the event is forced to be cancelled, you may choose to request a refund or convert your ticket to a contribution.*
