de Personajes Memorables 
para Cine” comienza a las 11:30 am</h2><h2>Caro Duarte - Bio (español)</h2><p>Productora, guionista y directora de cine originaria de Hermosillo, Sonora, México. Licenciada en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la Universidad de Sonora. Desde el año 2005 dirige el equipo de producción de cine La Nova Films en dónde además de otorgar servicios de guionismo, producción y postproducción ofrece los cursos de Guion para Cine, Construcción de Personajes de Ficción, Dirección y Análisis Cinematográfico. Su especialización se ha llevado a cabo a través de talleres, seminarios y diplomados de Producción Ejecutiva, Realización Cinematográfica, Desarrollo de Proyectos Documentales, Dirección de Arte y Dramaturgia, entre otros. Ha formado parte del comité organizador del Viña de Oro Film Festival (Fresno, CA),del Festival Internacional de Cine del Desierto (Hermosillo) y actualmente del Festival Internacional de Cine Álamos Mágico (Álamos). Entre su obra artística más relevante se encuentra la producción, escritura y dirección de los cortometrajes LA MEJOR ESTACIÓN (2005), ARCANO (2006), EL ANIVERSARIO (2006), JESUIT (2006), NADA QUÉ HACER (2020), el documental LOS MISTERIOS DEL TEMPLO DE PITIQUITO (2009) y los largometrajes de ficción SER (2010) y EL CALLEJÓN (2017). Ésta última ha recibido los premios Mejor Película y Mejor Dirección (Ahmednagar Film Festival, India, 2020), Mejor Largometraje (LetNetworks AmLatino; Washington, EU, 2019), Mejor Largometraje Internacional Latino (Latino Film Market; Nueva York, EU, 2018), Mejor Dirección (Premios Latino; Marbella, España, 2018), Mejor Largometraje de Ficción (Bohemian Film Festival; Oregon, EU, 2018), entre otros premios y nominaciones. A principios del 2021 publica su primera novela de ficción titulada EL ABRAZO en donde aborda el tema de los feminicidios en México y en ese mismo año también se publica su MANUAL: 10 PASOS PARA ESCRIBIR UN GUION PARA CINE. Actualmente se encuentra en la preparación de su siguiente largometraje de ficción.</p><h2>Caro Duarte - Bio (english)</h2><p>Producer, screenwriter and film director originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. She has a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Sonora. Since 2005, she has directed the film production team La Nova Films, where, in addition to providing scriptwriting, production, and post-production services, she offers courses on Screenwriting, Construction of Fictional Characters, Direction, and Film Analysis. Her specialization has been carried out through workshops, seminars and diploma courses in Executive Production, Filmmaking, Development of Documentary Projects, Art Direction and Dramaturgy, among others. She has been part of the organizing committee of the Viña de Oro Film Festival (Fresno, CA), the Desierto International Film Festival (Hermosillo) and currently the Álamos Mágico International Film Festival (Álamos). Among her most relevant artistic work is the production, writing and direction of the short films LA MEJOR ESTACIÓN (2005), ARCANO (2006), EL ANNIVERSARIO (2006), JESUIT (2006), NOTHING WHAT TO DO (2020), the documentary LOS MYSTERIES OF THE TEMPLE OF PITIQUITO (2009) and the feature films SER (2010) and EL CALLEJÓN (2017). The latter has received the Best Film and Best Director awards (Ahmednagar Film Festival, India, 2020), Best Feature Film (LetNetworks AmLatino; Washington, EU, 2019), Best Latino International Feature Film (Latino Film Market; New York, EU, 2018) , Best Director (Latino Awards; Marbella, Spain, 2018), Best Fiction Feature Film (Bohemian Film Festival; Oregon, EU, 2018), among other awards and nominations. At the beginning of 2021, she published her first fiction novel entitled EL ABRAZO where she addresses the issue of femicides in Mexico and in that same year her MANUAL was also published: 10 STEPS TO WRITE A SCRIPT FOR CINEMA. She is currently preparing her next fictional feature film.</p>
