In this first edition of a series of Reading Groups associated with ‘The Foreigners’, join Prof. Neloufer de Mel, Senior Professor at the Department of English, University of Colombo, to critically engage with a literary text in conjunction with the artworks on view. This Reading Group has been curated as part of the Public Programmes of the exhibition ‘The Foreigners’, on view until 22 October 2023.‘ආගන්තුකයෝ’ හා සබැඳි කියවීම් කණ්ඩායම් මාලාවක පළමු සංස්කරණයේදී, ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ තබා ඇති කලා කෘතිවලට සමගාමීව සාහිත්‍ය කෘතියක් සමග විවේචනශීලිව නියැලීමට, කොළඹ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ ඉංග්‍රීසි අධ්‍යයනාංශයේ ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨ මහාචාර්ය නෙලූෆර් ද මෙල් සමග එක්වන්න. කෘතිය පිළිබඳ වැඩි විස්තර ඉදිරි සතිවලදී බලාපොරොත්තුවන්න.මෙම කියවීම් කණ්ඩායම 2023 ඔක්තෝබර් 22 දක්වා නැරඹීමට ඇති ‘ආගන්තුකයෝ’ ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ මහජන වැඩසටහන්වල කොටසක් ලෙස අභිරක්ෂණයකර ඇත.இது ‘அந்நியர்’ கண்காட்சியுடன் தொடர்புடைய வாசிப்புக் குழுக்களின் முதல் பதிப்பாகும். ஒரு இலக்கிய படைப்புடனும் பார்வைக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள கலைப்படைப்புகளுடனும் விமர்சன ரீதியாக ஈடுபடுவதற்கு கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழக ஆங்கிலத் துறையின் சிரேஷ்ட பேராசிரியரான நெலுஃபர் டி மெல் அவர்களுடன் கலந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். வரும் வாரங்களில் இலக்கிய படைப்பு பற்றி கூடுதலான விவரங்களுக்குக் காத்திருங்கள்.22 ஒக்டோபர் 2023 வரை பார்வைக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ‘அந்நியர்’ கண்காட்சியின் பொது நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் ஒன்றாக இந்த வாசிப்பு குழு தொகுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
