Soul Salutations Outdoor Sunset Yoga

Soul Salutations is a 10-week themed outdoor yoga sunset series that highlights the importance of body movement, breath, collective healing and the spirit of enjoyment.

<h3>Soul Salutations Dirty Souf Sunset Yoga features soulful sounds from Dirty Souf while teaching holistic healing practices and how to integrate them into daily habits. </h3><p>This mind-strengthening yoga session will incorporate breathing exercises,  beginner-friendly yoga sequences, and intentionally paced movements to enhance your alignment, strength, and balance. We will relax within ourselves, focus on our breath, hydrate our internal landscape while enhancing our alignment, strength, and balance. Allow the vibes, environment and community help you reduce stress, hydrate your soul and pour good energy into the world. </p><p>This class is for all levels including anyone new to yoga or interested in designing their own well-being practice. </p><p>Still don't know if this is for you? <h2>WHAT TO KNOW FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE: </h2><p><strong>LOCATION:</strong> The flow will be located in Anacostia Park across from Anacostia Recreation Center. Street Parking is available throughout the park.</p><p></p><p><strong>ENVIRONMENT: </strong>We will be outside and on grass! Picnic/Outdoor Blankets are best to flow on grass. You can also flow on a mat, but I suggest still having a blanket. Additional items for consideration: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and any outdoor accessories that blesses your soul.</p><p></p><p><strong>OFFERING: </strong>This is a donation based flow. The flow will be added to tentative rain dates of 8/15 and 8/22.</p>

<h2>A﻿BOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: RADIANCE BASDEN</h2><p>Radiance Basden is a trailblazing well-being consultant, coach, yoga instructor, NASM certified personal trainer and champion of human development. She enlightens others about the mental, spiritual, and physical benefits of internal wellness and body movement. </p><p>Radiance is a Hall of Fame runner and wellness expert who has worked with brands including lululemon, Mental Health America, AMResorts, NCAA, Prudential, DC government, as well as local running clubs, gyms and schools. She is the Founder and Principal Consultant for Rooted in Radiance, a full service wellness enterprise HQ in Washington, DC. Rooted in Radiance provides programs covering well-being, fitness, and mental resilience including stress reduction programs, holistic health talks, training,  experiential wellness activations and multi-sensory guided experiences. </p><p>Radiance is passionate about helping people strengthen their minds and bodies for maximum performance. After experiencing burnout, she sought to reconstruct what it means to invest in your well-being personally and professionally. Radiance uses her decades of experience in fitness and resilience to help others uncover their gifts and push beyond the status quo to create transformational change.
