Heat Press & Cricut Basics

Learn the basics of the Heat Presses and the Cricuts at Making Awesome Tallahassee!

In this class we'll cover how to use the heatpresses at MA, how to choose the best press for your project and how to use the specialty presses and attachments we have. We'll cover the basics of the Cricut software and what kinds of projects it's right for. We'll also briefly discuss sublimation, infusible ink, and types of vinyl.

You need to bring a laptop or tablet that can run the Cricut software and has Bluetooth or a USB port. You can download the software here: https://design.cricut.com/#/ . You will need to create an account with Cricut.

This class is open to MA members and nonmembers. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Classes are held at Making Awesome in the classroom. If you're not a member and are attending a class, please ring the doorbell when you arrive so we can let you in. You must wear closed-toe shoes at MA at all times.
