LIVE: READY FOR UNI?

LIVE (Learn, Inspire, Visualise, Elevate) is a social enterprise founded in 2016 by Kike Adediji and Lamide Odanye. The purpose of this organisation is to bridge the gap between education and the working world by teaching young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds the soft transferable skills required in a work environment. This is done by running mentoring programmes and workshops for students in Year 8-13 (12-18-year olds)

LIVE (Learn, Inspire, Visualise, Elevate) is a mentoring organisation that teaches students the necessary skills required to succeed.This event is open to students in Years 12 and 13 and also those on a Gap Year.  We have found that many young people are unsure of what to expect or consider when applying or going to university. To address these issues, this workshop will provide an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and to learn from people who are already attending university. Our guest speakers will be at hand to help answer your questions about what to consider when deciding which university is the right one for you. For example, how to write personal statements and prepare for interviews? How diverse is it? What university is best for your subject and future career plans? If you are certain on where you are going,  you can still look forward to getting all the essential tips about navigating your way through university, including:- How to make the most out of university- Managing deadlines and your social life- Hot spots around your university town Disclaimer: In registering for this event, you are providing automatic consent for your image to be included in any pictures or videos that are taken on the day.
