***Self Help Graphics' Family Workshop is held 2nd Saturdays of the month at the East Los Angeles County Library, inside the Community Room.***In June we welcome the American Museum of Ceramic Art's (AMOCA) Mud Mobile team, as they take over SHG’s monthly family workshop on Saturday, June 10 from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. at the East Los Angeles Library! The 'Mud Mobile' educators will lead the whole family in a clay workshop. The class will begin by looking at 1-5 pieces of artwork from their education collection while learning about their background and basic clay working techniques to create an art piece. Space is limited, registration is highly encouraged. This workshop is open to all ages and no prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided to participants. Masks are optional.Our monthly free Family Workshop will be held at the East Los Angeles Library every second Saturday of the month in the Community Room. Limited public parking is available.
