Led by our resident photography centre, Gulf Photo Plus, for a cyanotype workshop for families and kids.

Gulf Photo Plus

Photography is originally an organic process. Using pretreated cyanotype paper, children will learn about the fundamentals of chemistry – the interactions of light and water to produce a sharp image. After composing their print using the cast shadows of food objects, all participants will expose their work to the sun for no more than 2 minutes, letting the image slowly burn into the paper. Then, after a brief rinse in water, you will get your very own cyanotype print. Gulf Photo Plus is Dubai’s center for photography, equipping and inspiring the local and international photography community through photography workshops, free artist talks, state-of-the-art printing services, and the region’s longest-running international photography event, GPP Photo Week.J﻿oin us at Warhouse 36 / Gulf Photo Plus at 10AM on Saturday, May 6 2023.
