Is there a special diet I have to take part in to participate?

We recommend that you don't take any caffeine or any stimulants the day of.

Please also refrain from alchohol or any other drugs.

We recommend you do not eat 3/4 hours prior to experience the best effects.   A piece of fruit is ok.

Please do come hydrated.

Can I come if I am pregnant?

Absolutely, cacao is one plant that is great to take when pregnant and can give lots of benefits to the mom and baby.

Can I join if I am taking other medications?

Accepted Answer

Yes you may participate but may need to drink less cacao.

Can I come late?

Accepted Answer

The Ceremony will begin at 730 and we ask that there are no late comers.

Will I be able to pay by card for their ancient art and crafts?

Cash is preferable.

I have never had a ceremonial dose of cacao what is that like?

Cacao, comes from tree pod, to your cup made by the Marina Cruz family with love.  A ceremonial dose of cacao in a ceremonial context will bring opening to the heart, inspiration, peace and joy.  Dependent on what you need it can bring inspiration and energy or relaxation.
