This is a FREE mental health based movement session open to everyone who is in need of a cathartic emotional release through the art of dance. The schedule is as follows:6﻿:00 PM - 6:45 PM - Open session, warm up, say hello!6﻿:45 PM - 8:00 PM - 1 minute introductions including a little bit about how you're feeling in the moment.8﻿:00 PM - 10:00 PM (sharp) - Guided movement prompts, group discussions.T﻿he space closes at 10, so we must exit the building promptly!It's Showtime NYC's Dancers' Therapy session is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. It's Showtime NYC! is a program of Dancing in the Streets, with funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, City Council, the Mertz Gilmore Foundation, Howard Gilman Foundation, Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation, New York State Council on the Arts, Club Culture Foundation and the Foley Hoag Foundation and National Endowment for the Arts.
