A&H Book Club: June Meeting

The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. Make new friends at the A&amp;H Members-Only Book Club! Join A&amp;H Director of Advancement Jessi VanPelt every other month to share your opinions on fascinating topics in the realms of art and history. This month we will meet in the Maitland Art Center gallery. At the end of each meeting, we'll vote on what book to read together next.At this meeting, we'll discuss Picasso's War: How Modern Art Came to America, by Hugh Eakin. Picasso’s War is the never-before-told story about how a single exhibition, a decade in the making, irrevocably changed American taste, and in doing so saved dozens of the twentieth century’s most enduring artworks from the Nazis.
