Its mission is to champion a vibrant community with strong leadership and sustainable infrastructure that is safe, livable, diverse, economically viable, accessible, clean, hospitable and entertaining. The Atlanta Downtown Improvement District is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable corporation created by CAP to make Downtown safer, cleaner and more hospitable.

Join us for &quot;Relax In Sound&quot;, an in-person sound immersion supporting you in relieving stress, reducing pain, and strengthening your mind-body connection.You will be guided into the relaxation response through Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction practices using acoustic sound therapy instruments such as quartz crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, and drums. Notice blocks and tensions wash away, leaving you centered, refreshed, energized, and fully present and connected with the world around you. Your experience will be truly individual and unique to the person next to you. All you have to do is show up for yourself and relax into the sound.Suggestions on what to bring?<ul><li>Yoga Mat </li><li>Water</li><li>Anything that will support you feeling more comfortable lying down (blanket, pillow, bolster, etc.)</li></ul>Sound Healing has been shown to support stress reduction, pain relief, and promote restful sleep.
