The Meraki Institute of Learning at Tanager Place strives to enhance the mental wellbeing and resilience of all! We do this by providing experiential learning events and published resources across four pillars of empowerment; Families, Communities, Educators & Professionals, and Organizational systems & Leaders.

Parents &amp; caretakers will learn about what emotional regulation is &amp; how they can support youth to improve emotional regulation skills.

I﻿n this session, parents, caretakers, foster parents, kin, and grandparents will join together to learn all about emotional regulation and why it is a critical part of development for every youth. Participants will learn signs of emotional dysregulation as well as the important role they play to help support emotional regulation development for the youth in their life. Participants will also have the opportunity for live Q&A with a licensed mental health clinician from <a href="https://tanagerplace.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tanager </a>in Cedar Rapids Iowa.T﻿his event will be taking place via zoom meetings and you must register to receive the zoom link and access information. To honor a safe space and what participants may share this event will not be recorded or offered on-demand following the event.
