https://www.untermyergardens.org/C﻿heck out our website.The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy is dedicated to the revitalization of Samuel Untermyer’s once great gardens, now a City municipal park in Yonkers, New York.  Working with the City of Yonkers, the Conservancy will showcase exuberant horticulture in the magnificent landscape designed by Welles Bosworth in 1916.  An emphasis on the lives of Samuel and Minnie Untermyer will deepen the appeal and meaning of these gardens for all people.

Celebrate Father’s Day with this performance of cabaret pieces from the 1920's in Germany, in our open-air amphitheater.

On Father's Day, Sunday, June 18 at 5:00 PM, treat yourself to an unforgettable performance of German cabaret music. Soprano Tammy Hensrud and bass Robert Osborne will be the stars of the show, performing pieces popular in Weimar Germany from the 1920s.The duo will be accompanied by a piano and banjo, which will help to bring the unique sound of German cabaret music to life. The pieces will be by some of the most famous German composers, including Strauss, Korngold, Lehar, Weill, and others. The performance will also feature German-inspired music by Cole Porter and George Gershwin, adding a touch of variety to the program.This is an excellent way to celebrate Father's Day with your family, as the performance will be an experience that fathers and their loved ones will cherish for years to come. The beauty of the music, combined with the natural beauty of the gardens, will make for a memorable and meaningful Father's Day celebration.RAIN OR SHINE: In case of inclement weather, the performance will move indoors to the Community Room of the Cola Center at Untermyer Park and Gardens.
