NC100BW Dallas Metropolitan Chapter serves as an advocacy organization focused on the empowerment of Black Women and Girls through programs that meet their diverse needs. Our members are dedicated to education, health, political awareness, civic engagement, and leadership development.The newly established Dallas Metropolitan Chapter will work diligently to foster initiatives that will directly impact our communities. Our vision is to see Black Women and Girls live in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist.TheDallas MetropolitanChapter also collaborates with other organizations to develop programs that benefit the community. We are passionate about our mission to advocate on behalf of Black Women and Girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.The Dallas Metropolitan Chapter is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, receiving support from local corporations, foundations, federal agencies, and other organizations. In addition, a substantial portion of the annual budget is received from membership dues and fundraising efforts.

Williamson is a wife, mother, nationally acclaimed best-selling author, award-winning filmmaker, businesswoman, highly sought-after transformational speaker, and success coach. She is known for encouraging women to be God-fident in all they do while living unapologetically! She has dedicated her career through philanthropy, film projects, books, coaching programs, and her speaking platform to helping women shift their mindset to walk boldly in pursuit of a life of power and purpose at any age.Cheryl is the CEO and Founder of Williamson Media Group, LLC, Soul Reborn 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable institution, and Cheryl Polote Williamson, LLC. Her quarterly publication, Cheryl Magazine, highlights the impactful work of powerful, everyday women across multiple industries.Most recently, she was selected to speak on a panel with former first lady Michelle Obama for a special discussion of her latest book release, &quot;The Light We Carry.&quot; Williamson was one of few women selected out of hundreds of thousands for this extraordinary opportunity.This limitless, faith-driven mindset has garnered multiple national and international media features and several awards for her leadership capabilities. She counts the notable Maura Service Award, one of the highest achievements for women in service in Texas, and the Presidential Service Award from President Joseph R. Biden as a great honor. Recently she was honored with the Topaz Award from WIFTA (Women in Film &amp; TV) for her award-winning film work and the Avante-Garde award at the 2022 Mogulcon. She was selected as one of Dallas&#x27; Top 25 women and was honored as one of the Female Success Factor Award recipients for 2016. She garnered the 2017 and 2018 Indie Author Literary Trailblazer Award, Global Smashers Award, Who&#x27;s Who in Black Dallas Publishing, Indie Author Legacy Award in 2017 and 2018, a 2018 African American Literary Award, and the 2020 African American Literary Award for Self-Published Author of the Year.As a filmmaker, she has executive-produced multiple films and documentaries, including the highly acclaimed, &quot;Twenty Pearls: The Story of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,&quot; narrated by Phylicia Rashad, and the recent Links documentary &quot;The Invitation.&quot; She&#x27;s been fortunate to see her projects receive awards from HBO Max, join the Oscar Short List, and screen at more than 100 film festivals globally.Cheryl tours nationally, motivating varied audiences to release negative strongholds, walk in power, and thrive in purpose. An author of over 17 books, she has been a featured author at the 108th NAACP National Convention and the Congressional Black Caucus. Her multiple best-selling titles include Soul Reborn, Words from the Spirit for the Spirit, Safe House, Affirmed, Soul Talk Vol 1, 2, and 3, Soul Bearer, Soul Source, The Success Factor, Souled Out, Soul to Soul, Soulful Prayers Vol 1 and 2, and with Soulful Affirmations released in 2021.Cheryl&#x27;s memberships and affiliations include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, The Links Incorporated (Mid-Cities Chapter), Jack and Jill of America (graduated out), The Walker&#x27;s Legacy Group Ambassador, Soul Reborn Charitable Outreach, Non-Fiction Author&#x27;s Association, Award-winning Online Communities (mentor for authorship, co authorship, volunteerism, entrepreneurial ventures, philanthropic gestures), (formerly) Member of Forbes Coaches Council, Odyssey Media Group, and Christian Women in Media. She is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs small business program.Serving is Cheryl Polote Williamson&#x27;s passion, but nothing comes before the love and care she gives to her husband Russ Williamson of 30 years, her three exceptional children, Russ, Jr., Courtney, and Lauren, and two adorable grandbabies, Leah and Russ III.
