CITY NATURE CHALLENGE: TWILIGHT TOAD WALK

ThePennypack Environmental Centerresides on the land of theLenape, and was originally dedicated as a bird sanctuary in 1958. Today, the Center has an outdoor amphitheater, exhibits, a reference library, and campfire and picnic areas. </h3><h2>This hike coincides breeding season of some frogs including American toads. We will listen to the songs of these night singing amphibians and record these and other sightings with iNaturalist for the <a href="https://www.citynaturechallenge.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">City Nature Challenge</a> occurring 4/28-5/1.  <a href="https://www.inaturalist.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">iNaturalist</a>experience or camera, phone or app not required.

Free. </h2><h3></h3><h3>Parking is available at the center with additional street parking.  </h3><h3>The center, bathrooms, and picnic areas are all accessible, <em>however, the trails are rocky and uneven. </em></h3><h3>This is an all-weather, outdoor program.
