推进华中科技大学校友企业家与北美企业界的对话与合作、共享技术创新与创业文化的经验。这是一次精心设计的两天活动，面向广大华中科技大学校友、往返北美与中国的创业者、企业家和公司管理人员、硅谷华人等。

6月29号：“技术创新与创业文化”论坛
技术创新与创业文化论坛。来自中国与北美的、遍及金融、医药、建筑、制造、高科技、企业管理与创业咨询等行业的著名企业家与成功专业人士。高质量和深具影响力的专题演讲与专家小组的研讨。

9:30AM – 10:10AM “The Future of Intelligent Manufacturing” - 李培根，华中科技大学教授，中国工程院院士。现任中国机械工程学会理事长，国家数字化设计与制造创新联盟理事长。曾任华中科技大学校长。李院士 received his Ph.D. degree  from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 
10:10AM – 10:50AM “The Pillars of An Entrepreneurship Ecosystem” – Steve Adelman, Director of Alliance of Chief Executives, the founder and Managing Director of Nexus Partners. Steve has been an advisor to numerous incubators in the US, Europe, and the Middle East, and is an expert on innovation and entrepreneurship. He has worked with hundreds of startups in dozens of countries. 
10:50AM – 11:30AM “Innovation on Next Driving” – Siwei Shen, Director of Engineering at Lyft, overseeing a wide range of engineering teams including Driver Experience, Express Drive, Insurance, Payments, Fraud, Public API, Enterprise, Globalization. Shen was Head of Product Safety Engineering at Twitter. Mr. Shen started at Google as a software engineer. He received his Master's degrees from Carnegie Melon University and University of Michigan.

11:40AM – 12:20PM Morning Panel Topic: Open Innovation and Culture: 1. How to understand US culture; 2) How to make connections in US; 3) Entrepreneurs difference between US and China ❖ JJ Tang (Mediator), FAIA. 美国建筑师学院院士, Vice President, HDR ❖ Steve Adelman, Director of Executive Alliance ❖ 沈士亮, VP, Kindstar Globalgene Technology ❖ 王檑, CEO, Fannet Group ❖ 李红卫, President, Lion Investment LLC

1:30PM – 2:10PM “Hunting for Top and Right Talents” – 张琦 (Tom Zhang) 博士, 硅谷资深人才专家，硅新社特约评论员，在中美高端人才的研究、引进和管理方面有丰富的实践经验。他是特斯拉公司在亚太区的第一个 HR，协助组建了最早的亚太区团队。曾经在 Google 总部和腾讯负责高端人才的搜索和引进工作。曾任教于美国加州圣荷西州立大学计算机系, 在浙江大学获得工学博士学位 
2:10PM – 2:50PM “U.S. Finance & Banking Trends, New Financial Products and Fintech Developments” – Peter Lou, VP of Advanced Analytics at Wells Fargo. Peter is a banking executive with 20+ years of experience working for Ernst & Young, Wells Fargo, Union Bank. Advanced studies at University of Iowa. Distinguished Adjunct Professor, UC Berkeley and Golden Gate University. 
2:50PM – 3:30PM “Kindstar Global and the Melody of Times” - Dr. Shen Shiliang, V.P. and Pathological Director in Kindstar Globalgene Technology, Inc. , also the vice director of Editorial Division of the Chinese version of The American Journal of Surgical Pathology. Studied from 1993-2010 the mechanism of central neuronal regeneration after injury and neuro-degenerative diseases in Departments of Neurobiology and Genetics, Stanford University. 
3:30PM – 3:40PM Break 
3:40PM – 4:20PM “Back to the core value of investment”, Bill Yao, Partner at BlueRun Venture.Developed PPTV, the world’s first P2P streaming internet TV in 2004, continued to grow more than 450 million users and received six rounds of financing with famous investors, Softbank, DFJ, BlueRun, SBCVC, and acquired by a Chinese listed company, Suning Holding in 2014. Seeing the potential of distributed storage, Bill launched a new venture in Silicon Valley – PPIO (http://pp.io). 
4:20PM – 5:00PM Afternoon Panel Topic: Revolutionary Technologies or Hype? Panelists’ perspectives on AI, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Autonomous Driving, Genomic Sequencing to Quantum Computing.
