Idaho Young Birders' Bike and Bird Trip

Golden Eagle Audubon is dedicated to birding, wildlife education, cultivating native plants, habitat conservation, advocacy for birds, and more. As the Southwest Idaho chapter of the National Audubon Society, we offer birding trips for all ages, monthly educational presentations, community science programs, and work on the conservation and restoration of public lands. Most of our programs are free and open to the public as part of our commitment to serving the community. Golden Eagle Audubon is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we welcome everyone to join us! Visit our website to learn more.

Please register to attend this trip. Make sure ALL fields are filled in and a confirmation email is received.Join us on the Idaho Young Birders’ first bike and bird! We’ll be exploring the central Boise portion of the Greenbelt and stopping at several birding hotspots. Expect to see and hear summer breeding birds like Western Tanagers, Yellow Warblers, and Bullock’s Orioles, as well as resident birds like Red-winged Blackbirds and Song Sparrows. We&#x27;ll be riding about 5 miles on the Greenbelt with frequent stops. Beginner birder friendly. Age requirement is 16-25. Participants must bring their own bike and helmet. Helmets are required! Binoculars will be provided. Meet at Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park at 10:00am.
