TheInventOR Collegiate Challengeis designed to increase the number of inventors and entrepreneurs across the state, InventOR challenges the winners from preliminary campus and regional competitions to compete for $25,000 in prizes. Projects showcase solutions to important social and economic challenges across the state, including pressing community needs experienced in Oregon’s urban and rural regions.See how you can be a part of it!

Join us for The 2023 Invent Oregon Finals to see compelling innovation from student InventORs!

Redd East

Join us in person for The Invent Oregon Finals at The Redd East in SE Portland. The Exhibition Floor opens at 1:30 PM, the Student Pitches start at 4:00 PM and the livestream of the Student Pitches starts at 4:00 PM. To attend the pitches in person, please register and have your Event Bright Ticket. See projects from student innovators representing higher education institutions from across the state. Invent Oregon is an exciting competition for college and university students with ideas for inventions to address today’s most pressing problems. Through the Invent Oregon program, students are empowered through mentorship and education to see themselves as innovators. They receive up to $2,500 in development grants to take their invention from an idea to a working prototype while learning about the process of commercialization. At the Invent Oregon Collegiate Challenge finals, students present their invention and compete for $30,000 in cash prizes.
