The Mansion 731 is a hub for local artists and creative entrepreneurs. Inside the historic mansion are a variety of creative studios and shared spaces that inspire art as one immerses themselves in its rich history and detailed artistry. The Mansion hosts monthly gallery exhibitions for local, emerging artists and is available to rent for private events, photography sessions and more throughout the year.

The public is invited to join us inside the historic mansion for an evening of poetry and art with like-minded artists and friends!Featuring the solo exhibit Wasting Daylight by Allison McGovney throughout all three floors of the Mansion 731.T﻿here will be four featured readers among the gallery space inside The Mansion 731 sharing their stories and poetry with us.R﻿eaders: Rena Ivy, Han Donovan, Allison McGovney, Ben DurellA﻿bout the Artist &amp; Poet: Allison McGovneyMcGovney is an artist, writer, and comedian local to Columbus. Her writing mostly consists of poems inspired by dreams, emotions, and strange sensations. Erratic rhyme schemes and short, punchy lines are often found in her poems. She hopes to capture listeners and readers with her writing and draw them into something they can relate to, much like her art. A﻿bout the Reader: Rena IvyR﻿ena Ivy is an engineer by profession, but an artist and poet by passion. She has been writing since childhood and has always loved to hear and share stories. She draws inspiration for her work from nature and being outside, relationships and faith in God.A﻿bout the Reader: Han DonovanH﻿an is a cartoonist living in Columbus, Ohio but originally from Cincinnati. Her work ranges from vibrant &amp; fun stuff for all ages, to queer feminist sex comedy with a surreal edge. A﻿bout the Reader: Ben DurellB﻿en is a writer and cartoonist born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. His work ranges from fantasy to supernatural mysteries to experimental format fiction. Ben strives to imbue all his work with a sense of humanism and unique weirdness.
