The Global Big Latch On events take place at registered locations around the world, where people gather together to breastfeed and offer peer support to each other.Their friends, family, and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. The virtual room will open at 5:00 pm, you must be ready to latch on for the countdown just before 6:00 pm.2. We count all those who attend, all breastfeeding/chestfeeding persons, and all those who latch during the latch on. Record information will be posted on the Global Big Latch On Website, Facebook, and Twitter.3. What is counted as a “latch”?Latches include – children that are latched, use of a supplemental nursing system or nipple shield, people expressing milk (hand or pump), and children receiving breast milk (expressed milk or donor milk) via an alternative method.
