Charlotte City Walks 2023

Organized by UNC Chartlotte's urbanCORE, Charlotte City Walks is a part of the annual tradition known in many cities as Jane’s Walks. The free tours, led by local citizens, were inspired by urbanist Jane Jacobs. The walks offer both longtime and new Charlotte residents the chance to connect and discover a part of the city they haven’t visited before.

<p>Charlotte City Walks take place each spring, offering community members the chance to discover the Queen City on free walking tours. The walks honor the spirit of the great urbanist Jane Jacobs, who encouraged residents to get engaged and to explore where they lived, worked and played.  This year&#x27;s walks will begin on Wednesday, May 3rd, with the final walk taking place on Saturday, May 6th. </p><p>For more information go to: https://urbancore.charlotte.edu/Charlotte-City-Walks</p>
