Marilyn Barbarin laid down some of the hottest and most revered tracks in the New Orleans Funk and Soul canon as a member of Eddie Bo’s Soul Finders in the late 1960s and early 70s. A child prodigy from one of the few families that can be credited with inventing Jazz as we know it, including two uncle’s who played with Louis Armstrong, Barbarin’s sanctified voice rings with timeless grit and grace. Now a legend in New Orleans, she sings with the same fire that made records like “Reborn”, cut when she was 16 years old, all time classics. With the help of former Eddie Bo guitarist and New Soul Finders! band leader Marc Stone, Barbarin has returned to the stage and the studio to the delight of fans old and new.  Fire-breathing upstarts Naughty Professor have been barnstorming the national festival circuit with their high intensity, horn driven sound. Known for challenging and complex music that can still rock the party, Naughty P and their horn section have become top call entities before any of them have broken 30. This will be their second live collaboration with New Soul Finders!, and they provided the slick and soulful horn arrangement for New soul Finders! upcoming debut single.
