Do you have questions about how you&#x27;ve been feeling? Or wondering how you&#x27;d know if you had postpartum? Wondering about risk factors, symptoms and resources, but never knew who to ask? This is the class for you! We&#x27;ll discuss common motherhood myths, caues of postpartum distress, symptoms, resources and have time for open sharing &amp; questions. Depression or anxiety happens to over 20% of pregnant or new moms and yet many suffer in silence due to stigma and lack of information. Let&#x27;s Talk MMH is an in-person offering focusing on education around maternal mental health topics. Led by a certified perinatal mental health specialist, you&#x27;ll gain valuable knoweldge to prevent, heal &amp; advocate for your well-being. The event space is a shoeless environment, with different seating options, restrooms and you&#x27;re welcome to bring water or snacks. (This class is intented for those currently pregnant or within 12 month postpartum. This program is free due to the generosity of the venue and faciliator. )

Susannah Baldwin is a licensed professional counselor (SC) and a certified perinatal mental health expert with over 10 years experience working with moms. She has presented on this topic and many others at medical provider offices, new mom groups and to community programs. Her group counseling practice, Reproductive Journey, is home to 5 fulll time clinicians all with passion and advanced training for this population. With offices in Greenville and virtual we can serve all of SC with services including individual counseling, couples counseling, coaching, groups and fertility consults and evaluations.
