Northshore School Foundation End of the Year party

Northshore Schools Foundation is a local 501 (c)(3) local non-profit, charity that serves students, and teachers in the Northshore School District located in the communities of Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville.They were voted best local non-profit in the Best of Northshore two years in a row are a Gold Participant on Guidestar, and have received the Top Rated award from Great Non-Profits.They are best known for enriching the educational experience for students, supporting teachers, and making a meaningful contribution to public education and the community. The Foundation has granted over $2.7 million dollars to our schools, funding programs, and resources that benefit every student nearly every day during their school career.

</h2><h2>We are delighted to extend an invitation to join us for an afternoon of mixing and mingling on Sunday, June 4th. This event will be a wonderful opportunity for you and your significant other to enjoy a jovial afternoon together with your colleagues and compadres from the district! You can expect the presence of NSD Leadership, Foundation board members and staff, as well as key volunteers from the Foundation.

</h2><h2>Additionally, during this gathering, we will be taking the time to honor our outgoing Executive Director, Carmin Dalziel. It is an occasion to express our gratitude for her dedicated service and leadership.

</h2><h2>We appreciate your flexibility as we make adjustments to this event, ensuring that it provides an enjoyable experience for all attendees. Light bites and complimentary beverages will be provided to enhance the festivities. Kindly RSVP with the number of individuals attending in your party, so we can make suitable arrangements.

</h2><h2>Before the pandemic, the Foundation regularly organized end-of-year thank you parties for our valued volunteers. We deeply appreciate the work you do, making a significant difference in the lives of children. Additionally, the Foundation Board typically honors the dedication of the School Board with a dinner held in January. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 exposures, we had to cancel that event this year.

</h2><h2>To make up for these missed celebrations, we have decided to combine the parties into one grand event. Furthermore, on May 1st, our Executive Director announced her departure, with her last day being May 31st. Hence, we have integrated the thank you event for Foundation leadership, the School Board appreciation party, and a farewell gathering for Carmin.

</h2><h2>Given these changes, we have also adjusted the venue and timing to accommodate a larger number of attendees. The party will now take place at Crystal Lake Lodge, situated in North Woodinville within a private club space. The timing has been modified to be more conducive to a work night schedule. We envision an open house style event, allowing people to come and go as it suits their availability. At 4:45pm, there will be a brief program to express our heartfelt thanks.
