Acclaimed solo-performance artist Sara Juli’s signature style of movement fused with text and comedy and an '80s-inspired visual design.

Naughty is a performance piece that explores the impacts of trauma on the brain stemming from sexual assault as a child. Interweaving regressed thinking with a conflicted inner voice, coupled with finding the humor in the tragic, the work breaks down victimhood to ultimately reclaim the mind. Content warning: This work contains material related to sexual trauma and assault. Disclaimer: As this is a work-in-progress, some of the above elements will not yet be a part of this performance.
