The Feelings Parade and Honey of the Heart join forces for an intimate evening of music, drinks, and food. We will disclose the address upon ticket purchase for this private event. The door is at 5:30 but we will begin the music no later than 6:00 PM and go until about 8:00 PM! The venue will close at 8:30 PMNOTE: The Door will be a suggested donation of $25 so please get your presale tickets before 5/19/23The Feelings Parade: The Feelings Parade is a movement as much as it is a band. Led by songwriters Morgan Bolender and Scott Ferreter, the project has developed a loyal following of diehard “Feelers&quot; who come as much for the poetic songwriting, tight harmonies, and rich textures as they do to drop into their own tender human hearts in a space of collective radical vulnerability. The unwavering honesty of their songs and their undefended onstage presence create an atmosphere that is equally reverent to the ache, the challenge, and the pleasure of being human. On more than one occasion, fans have said that Feelings Parade shows are “better than therapy.”Their music has brought them on multiple national US tours and all over Europe--everywhere from grand music halls to prisons; from music festivals to the bedsides of hospice patients--and has had them sharing stages with like-hearted musicians such as Glen Hansard, Mirah, Josiah Johnson (The Head and The Heart), Ayla Nereo, Mount Eerie, Rainbow Girls, John Craigie, Whiskerman, and MaMuse. They regularly get asked to make an entire album of their unscripted, often hilarious, and vulnerable onstage banter. The project has become a central part of the burgeoning West Coast folk scene, and whether they’re playing as a duo or with their sexy 7-piece band, The Feelings Parade are known for being rare musical truth-tellers who choose lay it all out, both inside and outside of the songs. Honey of the Heart: Justin Ancheta and Maren Metke have musical nectar flowing through their veins. The dynamic Grass Valley duo are the driving force behind a project that is even sweeter than it sounds. Honey of the Heart is an ambrosial mix of musical interpretations influenced by folk, soul, roots and world/flamenco styles. Built upon a repertoire of uplifting original material, they join together with other phenomenal musicians to create in an organic state of symbiosis. Many of their songs come forth like ancient incantations, casting angelic spells on all in their path. Honey of the Heart weaves soaring harmonies and hypnotic polyrhythms into an alchemical semblance of groove intended for dancing, rejoicing and blissful recalibration. Internationally acclaimed touring musician Justin Ancheta is a guitarist, vocalist, multi instrumentalist, joined forces with Maren Metke, who is a vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist performing across the US and India. Both strong composers &amp; performers, they tour as a duo as well as full band.Justin and Maren formed the group Honey of the Heart to inspire and connect people with their voices, melodies and rhythms from around the world. Based in Northern California with strong roots in the Bay Area, Seattle &amp; Sierra Foothills, The group is about to release their premier studio full length album that combines talented musicians from across California. The new album gets as intimate as just vocals and Ukulele, to as large as a twelve piece band with a horn section, multiple percussionists, and DJ.
