NC100BW Dallas Metropolitan Chapter serves as an advocacy organization focused on the empowerment of Black Women and Girls through programs that meet their diverse needs. Our members are dedicated to education, health, political awareness, civic engagement, and leadership development.The newly established Dallas Metropolitan Chapter will work diligently to foster initiatives that will directly impact our communities. Our vision is to see Black Women and Girls live in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist.TheDallas MetropolitanChapter also collaborates with other organizations to develop programs that benefit the community. We are passionate about our mission to advocate on behalf of Black Women and Girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.The Dallas Metropolitan Chapter is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, receiving support from local corporations, foundations, federal agencies, and other organizations. In addition, a substantial portion of the annual budget is received from membership dues and fundraising efforts.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. is concerned about gender equity in
 health, education and economic empowerment. We realize that to effectuate the
 change needed in these areas; there must be relevant education and policy change.
 Additionally, access to fair housing, jobs that pay living wages and tools and techniques
 that ensure people understand how to properly manage and grow their wealth are
 essential to ensuring the strength and resiliency of any community. To this end, The
 Dallas Metropolitan Chapter is hosting Sister-Nomic$, our trademark economic
 empowerment series. The first session of our Sister-Nomic$ series, “Budgeting”, is
 meant to educate our communities on how to develop and sustain financial stability
 through effective budgeting.
Join the conversation as we partner with Ms. Charlotte Simms, Client Relations Officer
 with Neighborhood Credit Union to educate the community on:
● Determining personal obstacles to budgeting
● Creating a format to track and analyze spending
● Create short and long term goals
● Understanding the importance of debt reduction and emergency savings
● Applying strategies to manage day to day spending

Passcode: 962917About Charlotte SimmsCharlotte Simms, is a Community Relations Officer, with Neighborhood Credit Union, she has been in her position for the last 14 years. Charlotte has worked in Financial Services for 30 years, she teaches Financial Literacy, and is passionate about Financial education in the community. She has been featured in Southwest NOW magazine for her outstanding baking skills; she enjoys baking cookies, pies, and cakes. In 2019, she won the Stetson award for working in the Dallas community. Charlotte has served on the Greater Dallas Postal Customer Council Board of Directors for several years; she has been part of the postal family for over 10 years. Charlotte works in the community, by serving on the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Inland Port Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
