Join <A HREF="http://www.plantfiveforlife.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Plant Five for Life</A> for a kid and family friendly program with John Archambault, co-author of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, on Wednesday, May 8th at <A HREF="https://ascenderpgh.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ascender</A> Start/Build Hub. John's program integrates stories, imagination, reading, music and fun! 
Two program sessions are offered with an interim book signing/refreshment period: 
<UL>
<LI>The first program session is from 3:30-4:30pm;</LI>
<LI>Signing/refreshments from 4:30-5 pm;</LI>
<LI>A second program session runs from 5-6 pm.</LI>
</UL>
Sign-up for all three or just one or two! Bring your own copy of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom for signature. New copies will be on hand for purchase also. 
<A HREF="https://ascenderpgh.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ascender </A>is located at 6401 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 - 3rd floor. Parking is free and the site accessible by public transit. It is a great space for any adult to check out!
RSVP requested, but walk-in's welcome. Children may take home their own tree sapling to plant at home or to give to a friend (available on a first come first serve basis via the RSVP system).
Green Mountain Energy will be on hand to give parents the opportunity to switch over to renewable energy distribution - sending the message that trees and emissions reduction are a powerful tool in our climate challenged environment.
There is something for everyone at this fun event!

Plant Five for Life is a non profit organization with a mission to help connect children and families with their community and outdoor environment more equitably and from birth. A core program aims to give trees to every child at birth and match them to sites in need of their ecological and social services. 
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom author John Archambault is in the city this week on his second fact-finding mission related to an on-going literary project he has been working on with <A HREF="http://www.plantfiveforlife.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Plant Five for Life</A>, the topic of which is centered around trees, the environment and the Plant Five for Life vision starting in Pittsburgh. Additional project details and announcement coming soon.
