Talk With The Cops

Police2Peace is a national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the culture of policing through its Peace Officer framework. By training both law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve, Police2Peace promotes the concept of officers as guardians—protectors who embody empathy, effectiveness, and justice. Rooted in the principles of "rightful policing," this approach emphasizes ethical behavior, unbiased enforcement, and deep community engagement. Central to the framework is the idea that policing must be constitutionally sound, emotionally intelligent, and oriented toward doing no harm. Peace Officer training is available in five- or eight-hour formats, delivered online or in person, and focuses on leadership, personal development, and positive policing practices. It seeks to inspire officers with the nobility of their profession while equipping them to lead transformational change within their agencies and communities.

This dialogue will also seek answers, such as: What are we trying to achieve with our police? Can we find common goals? Can we find common outcomes that both the police and the community can embrace and work toward?
