Peking University Alumni Association of Northern California (PKUAANC) is a non-profit organization ( IRS 501 (c)(3) ) dedicated to connecting Peking University alumni in Northern California. In the spirit of the treasured legacy of Peking University - Science and Democracy, PKUAANC organizes social, academic and business activities with the purpose of assisting the professional and personal growth of our alumni, promoting communication between people in America and China.PKUAANC was officially founded in May 1992 with the efforts of many alumni. 2019的北加州冬天漫长而寒冷，淅淅沥沥的春雨悠悠飘过四月。 在草长莺飞的明媚五月天里，北京大学北加州校友会诚挚邀请各位校友携同家人朋友，相聚在美丽的山景城公园，享受一年一度的BBQ烧烤美食，老友新朋的开怀畅谈，思想和酒杯的心灵碰撞，和你我对那座园子里一塔一湖一草一木的深深眷恋和思念。
今年的BBQ活动保留了以往的传统项目。飘香的烤肉，甘甜的西瓜，孩子们最爱的蹦蹦床，热情可爱辛勤付出的志愿者, 还有每一位校友手中对理事会选举那庄严而神圣的一票。和以往不同的是，今年我们专门从公园管理处申请了酒牌许可，这样大家就可以享用到啤酒和葡萄酒。啤酒配烤肉，美女帅哥品葡萄酒，这是我能想象的BBQ最惬意和浪漫的事了。当然如果您滴酒不沾，还有老人小孩，我们会提供可乐雪碧橙汁苹果汁和牛奶。
2019的春天春雨贵，草更绿，天更蓝，阳光更加明媚灿烂。 愿你的世界天天都是好天气。 愿你的心灵永远充满热情和渴望。 愿你出走半生，归来仍是少年。

届时也将举行北京大学北加州校友会2019年度理事选举。

After a long rainy and chilly winter of 2019, finally comes the bright and sunny May with grass budding and oriole flying above it. The PKUAANC warmheartedly invites each of our alumni along with family and friends to the annual BBQ event - a 20+ year tradition and legacy. It’s the time we get together, enjoying delicious BBQ food, catching up with old friends, making new friends, brainstorming ideas, and cherishing our deep love of and longing for the tower, the lake, each grass and each tree in beautiful YanYuan. This year’s BBQ has kept the traditional popular elements: BBQ, watermelon, kids’ jump house, warmhearted volunteers, and PKUAANC’s annual Election, etc. Moreover, we’ve obtained the alcohol permission this year so that beer and wine will be provided. BBQ meat grilling, people sipping wines, heartfelt conversations, and laughter in the air - those are most precious memories and romantic things I can think of for a BBQ event. Of course, if you do not drink, or you have elderly and kids coming with you, we will provide water and soft drinks including Coke, Sprite, Orange juice, apple juice, and milk. The spring of 2019 brings in precious rain - the grass is greener, the sky bluer, and the sunshine even brighter. May each day a pleasant day for you! May your heart fulfilled with passion and hope! May you return with a youth heart after years of journey! See you at Rengscorff Park - Mountain View on May 19, 2019! Be there or be square!
