Learn to sew your own reusable produce bags!

Everyday we throw away countless produce bags that end up in the landfill, but we can all make a small and powerful change to reduce our footprints. In this workshop you will sew a few reusable cotton-muslin produce bags ready for your next grocery trip! These are reusable and can be machine washed to refresh between trips. It’s simple, easy to make, cool, and the earth will thank you too!Participants will need to bring their own sewing machine- all other materials will be provided!Ages 11+, no unaccompanied minors.A﻿bout the Instructor:Preeti Agrawal is a craft blogger and watercolorist. In her work, she&#x27;s concerned with experiments that combine old and new. She is drawn to the modern craft sensibility but at the same time the traditional arts call to her. She loves the interplay of the two as she adjusts traditional arts to new mediums and materials.A concern for the environment and a reverence for nature pervades her daily life and work: she saves fabric, remnants, beads and the castaways of modern living and incorporates them into her work.
