What grades may attend?

This event is for 6th thru 9th graders.  An attendee's date may be up to 17 yrs old.

What is the dress code?

As this is a formal event, formal dresses and nice suits are the expected attire. Absolutely no inappropriate hemlines or necklines. If the expected dress code is a hardship, please dress as nicely as possible.

Is there a code of conduct?

Accepted Answer

Every attendee is expected to be well-behaved, and respectful of the venue's/organizer's property, as well as all attendees, both youth and adult. Every Haymarket Event has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding bullying or intimidation. If such behavior is witnessed, the offending student must leave.

What is the food like?

Incredible!  But, aside from that, we try to always provide high quality food and ingredients, to suit a wide range of preferences. There are always fruit and veggie options, as well as gluten free, dairy free, and nut free. Food are labeled on the tables, where possible.

Question 5

Are parents allowed to watch?

Accepted Answer

Parents are not allowed in the event, but are able to purchase tickets for the parent room, which includes a lounge area, tv (when available), and refreshments. Also, there is usually an outdoor photo opportunity where parents can take pictures of/with their children.
