The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. A&H also features a community art school nestled among its beautiful gardens and unique architecture.Founded in 1937 as an artists’ retreat, our space still fulfills this mission today with multiple artist residencies serving both local and international artists. <h2>A Taste of Silk Painting Workshop</h2><h3><strong>Instructor: Peggy Wertheim</strong></h3><p>Marbling will inspire you with instant gratification and success! Peggy teaches Traditional Marbling using acrylic paints on carrageenan on special paper. You will create marbled papers and also create a Long Silk Scarf. Bring your love of art &amp; your curiosity – everything else is included.                                                                                                                                                                            __________________________________________________________________________________</p><p>Workshop is for adults 18 and over. Registration is $95. Please note that a materials fee of $30 (in cash) is due to the instructor at the start of the workshop. </p>
