The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. <h2>Silk Painting Galore Workshop</h2><h3><strong>Instructor: Peggy Wertheim</strong></h3><p>Discover, create and explore the exciting techniques of silk painting.  Everyone is successful! Students will learn resist application, color blending, color mixing, paint and salt techniques. You will create a Long Silk Scarf or Silk Wall Art to frame or to use in pillows/quilts, etc. A wealth of designs, reference books and handouts provided. No experience necessary. Fun, easy and creative art form!   </p><p>    Location: Cottage at Lake Lily                                                                                                                                                                __________________________________________________________________________________</p><p>Workshop is for adults 18 and over. Registration is $120. Please note that a materials fee of $30 (in cash) is due to the instructor at the start of the workshop. </p>
