What should I bring to the plant exchange?

Accepted Answer

Vegetable, herb, flower, or native plant seeds, seedlings, house plants, plant parts for propagation, home-grown vegetables, cut flowers, spare pots, tools, soil, books, field guides, etc. Anything plant, nature or gardening related that you have in excess and are willing to share!

Why is there a plant exchange along with an opening reception?

Accepted Answer

The exhibition will include an ongoing project ("Garden Connections") that documents and celebrates ways that communities are built and maintained, in part, through gardening, gift-giving/exchanges, and skill-sharing. The Plant Exchanges are an effort to scale up these types of relationships.
